Hi Everyone

This is my blog about last weekend. It was good to get back on our road bikes after that long cross season. Some of the bigger guys went out and did a road session while we did through and off and got used to our bikes again.

We have bought 2 sets of rollers with the profit of the tuckshop (who says sweets are bad for you). My dad taught Josh how to ride them and got me to show the guys how to do it. He was tricking the guys by saying "I wont let go of you" and then letting go of them. He was walking in front of them with his hands in his pockets,some of the guys got a shock.

After the session we went to mcdonnalds and then Angus's quadbiking party. The Quads are great fun but I came last in all the races, I like two wheels better than four. We had a realy good time (thank you again Angus). Then me  Mam and Dad travelled down to halifax for the race the next day. When we got to hailfax we went and had a look at the course, then Dad set the sat nav for to get us to the travel lodge. The sat nav took us down this lane that was so tight that we just got through.  we got to the travel lodge, got changed and went out for tea.

We went for a chinese and it had a ice cream machine and choclate fountain (very nice).

The next morning was the race, Morgan and Max came down. I was racing with 30 other Guys  8 of them were girls. I got a good start but my right foot came out of my pedal spd. The first lap quiet a few people were in front of me, I had to try really hard to get back up to the front people. In the middle of the race I overtook A girl and some other guys on the rugby pitch. I had to work hard to get to second place and my Dad and this other Dad were shouting lots ( I thought they were going to have a fight). Morgon did very well as did Max, after the presentation me and Morgan found a rope swing and had great fun. I had a go and some how manged to hit myself in the head with the stick of the swing and have a big lump on my for head. Morgan climbed into a barrell and I pushed him over it was very funny we had a great time. My dad and trevor did the dads race trevor got a puncture in the first lap and the fat lad fell off (sorry dad) and cut his Knee he still kept going and fininished.

It was a good weekend with loads of fun and a race as well.
