Sorry I haven't done a blog in absolutely ages, as I have had a History project to do and stuff like that. Anyway, I have decided that I will start riding again. I went on the rollers on Sunday so that's a start! Over the past weeks, Thomas and Emma B have been participating in many cross races around the country. They went away in the O'Brady caravan over the half term and had a packed few days of racing and training. Emma had a spasm in her neck so couldn't ride the British Schools (which was in about 5inches of snow!), but Thomas- with the support of his adoptive family- had a great race, coming away with the title once again! Last weekend, they went to Manchester velodrome. Emma rode representing Newcastle-Under-Lyme. And came second place. In the afternoon, they both raced a circuit race around Eastlands Stadium. Their team came second overall. Well Done yous! :) Also well done to Joe M & Matty W for riding and representing Hetton Hawks at Southport on Saturday. They said it was a very close race between the two of them. And well done to everyone who rode the race at Hetton on Saturday!
