The usual suspects turned out for this, the 1st road race of the season, the weather was spot on. There was even a burger van to keep us topped up with burgers, chips, chicken nuggets and drinks. The U14 winner was Matty Worton, U12 winner was Angus Brown, U10 winner was Paul Errington and U8 winner was Aaron Brown. Notice anything????? All the winners were Hetton Hawks. My dad even had a bit of bike repairing to do before the race, Alex had a snapped chain, so my dad came to the rescue with his little box of tricks - by the way Alex then went on to beat me. John D was all kitted out in his new HH gear, we left before his race, so I'll have to find out how he did.
