Joes race Round 6
Submitted by joemann on 14 December 2009 - 5:10pm.Howdy fellow riders. I didnt have time to write a blog on Sunday after my race because I had to get sorted out and do my homework to get settled down infront of the TV for the best Christmas film ever ELF. Did anyone watch it? Right back to bike stuff... Do you think that was the real Santa they used for the film, the reindeers were the real ones for sure. Right, bike stuff....It was round 6 TLI, a cold day for mams and dads watching, but us riders didnt feel it, we worked our socks off.

Joes news flash!!!
Submitted by joemann on 10 December 2009 - 6:42pm.I was sitting in a maths test and my mobile message alert sounded, which is Borat saying "you have new text message high five" It was my big brother telling me that Bradley Wiggins has joined Team Sky. The big brother isnt even into cycling, so he says, but obviously interested enough to tell me the latest news on the subject.
joes 35 miler
Submitted by joemann on 6 December 2009 - 5:59pm.Hello every one, just letting you know what i've been upto this weekend. I didnt go to the North Champs, because I didnt realise I had to pre-enter. So on Sunday I went out om my cross bike with my dad and Elliot. It was an "awesome" ride, a dry one though, only had a few spots of rain. We rode to Consett and back (Dunston). When we got to Consett, me and Elliot got a cornish pasty and can of coke and my dad had his boost of energy in the form of a coffee. The ride was a 35 miler, we had our faces pebble dashed with mud, which looked like stubble. So must get a shave!!!!!

Ponteland ride
Submitted by joemann on 27 November 2009 - 11:19pm.Today I have been off school for a teacher training day(teacher christmas shopping day really) and my dad has had the day off too so we have been around Ponteland on our road bikes. We rode 30 miles and stopped off at a little cafe at the end for a cup of tea and a buttered scone. We should do this route one day with Hetton, it's a really good work out with plenty of hills. How can you ride 29 mile up hill then 1 mile down hill and finish where you started? So I won't be going to Keilder tomorrow I will be at Hetton. See you all there.
